Kabul (BNA) The Committee on Policy and Skills with first vice president Mohammad Yonus Qanooni on the chair held meeting yesterday. According to presidential press office to BNA, at the outset of the meeting, Qanooni said that formation of such entity was envisaged in the documents of Bonn Agreement, because Afghanistan had entered into new phase and had needed cadres and professional people for its rebuilding.
The vice president also said that the entity has been formed in the country and requires the cooperation of concerned bodies that this national entity will be able to improve the capacity building of individuals for the reconstruction process of the country.
In the meeting the creation of the board for technical and professional education within the framework of national body to evaluate capacity building were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the framework for evaluation of capacity building and the draft for formation of independent board for technical and professional education and the code of conduct for the policy committee on education and skills was approved and relinquished to the council of ministers for endorsement.
