Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met the other day with Mohammadullah Batash, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation and assessed the ministry’s first 100 days’ plan.
At the meeting, key issues of the plan as preparation of public transport’s draft, better coordination of Hajj process and making effectively use of airports as well as modality of the plan’s implementation were discussed. Insisting on importance of public transport, the country’s President said that draft for management of city transport in particular Kabul city should be prepared, instructing ministry of transport and civil aviation to adopt necessary measures for better improvement and coordination of Hajj process. Another key issue discussed in the session was the modality of management of civil airports’ affairs and the country’s president stressed on taking necessary steps for effectively using of the airports.
At the end, leading body of the ministry assured the president related to the ministry’s preparation for implementation of the first 100 days’ plan.
According to another report, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with a number of the country’s elders, ulema and influential figures of the country the other day.
