One Turkish Charity Foundation Is Ready to Support Public Benefit Projects in Afghanistan

KABUL (BNA) Engineer Mujib Rehman Omar, Deputy Minister of Water and Energy, met with representatives of the IHH Charitable Foundation of Turkey.

According to BNA reports, the meeting focused on joint cooperation of Afghan-Turk, and representatives of the IHH Foundation promised to coordinate with the Afghanistan Ministry of Water and Energy in the distribution of emergency and humanitarian aid, as well as in the implementation of public benefit projects.

Both sides discussed providing drinkable water and rebuilding irrigation and water supply networks for the Afghan people.

At the same time, the Deputy Minister of Water and Energy assured the representatives of the Foundation that the Ministry is committed cooperation and sharing information in order to implement the mentioned projects.

At the end of the meeting, both sides stressed the need to start work and implement the mentioned projects as soon as possible and agreed that water problems in the country will be addressed under admin of urgent and humanitarian aid.

The IHH Foundation has been working to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by natural disasters and war victims in 123 countries since 1992.
