Nigeria is Aiding Afghanistan Humanitarian Trust Fund

KABUL(BNA)The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has said in a message that Nigeria has aiding $1 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Trust Fund.

According to reports, the Nigerian government led by Mohammado Bohari has aided $1 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Trust Fund set up by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Nigeria aided $1 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Trust fund, said Hussein Ibrahim Taha, secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
He welcomed the help and said it’s generous.
Hussein Ibrahim Taha noted that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is committed to supporting the people of Afghanistan.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has said that this assistance had provided in a timely manner to assist the organization’s efforts to address the situation of millions of Afghan citizens.

He added that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will not hesitate to fully implement its special resolution on Afghanistan, which was issued at its last special meeting in Pakistan.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has requested member states to assist through the establishment of a bank account for the Humanitarian Trust Fund of Afghanistan at the Islamic Development Bank.
