KABUL (BNA): A new 30-bed emergency hospital has been inaugurated in the Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province.
The hospital is aimed at catering to the health needs of local community and Afghan citizens returning from Pakistan.
The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Economy Qari Din Muhammad Hanif, Minister of Public Health Dr. Qalandar Ebad, and other provincial officials.
The hospital was constructed with financial support from the World Health Organization (WHO).
The services provided by the hospital are also funded by WHO, with technical cooperation from the Human Management and Leadership Organization (HMLO).
