Kabul (BNA) I informed with great regret that former rector of Kabul University prof. Toryalai Itemadi passed away as a result of illness in exile.
Bereaved Toryalai Itemadi was one of scientific and academic personalities of the country that within 1965 and 1967 has served the country as the rector of Kabul University.
In 1968, he was introduced to UNESCO as representative of Afghanistan and worked for a while there and in June 20 of current year died at the age of 92 as a result of a disease he was suffering.
More scientific works and articles remained after him.
His honest services rendered for education of homeland’s offsprings are laudable and his death is a great loss for the academic society of the country.
I one again express my condolence and sympathy to the bereaved family, friends and academic society of the country and invite for him paradise from the court of Almighty Allah, reward and great patience for remained.
