Kabul (BNA) Australian ambassador in Afghanistan John Fillip in meeting with senate chairman Fazal Hadi Muslimyar here yesterday said his country would assist Afghanistan annually 100 million US dollars totaling 300 million US dollars after 2015.
He also said that soon the Australian troops would hand over the security of Uruzgan province to Afghan forces, saying Australia would continue to train and support the Afghan national security forces.
Muslimyar expressed gratitude over Australian contribution in rebuilding process of Afghanistan and also stressed for boosting relations between the two nations.
Muslimyar also met with Egyptian acting Ambassador Omar Al-Hanawi and called for strengthening relations between the two nations.
