Kabul (BNA) Export of carpet has been decreased in the country recently.
According to BNA reporter, Hadi Farzam member of product and exportation companies of carpet said, if we consider the export of carpet from the year 1384 to 1389, it shows 75 percent decreased in its export and products.
According to him, in the year 1384, the export of carpet was 1,084,900 sqm and in the year of 1389 it reached to 380,000, which shows 75 percent decrease in its export.
Farzam said that the case of decreasing is non-attention of commerce and industry ministry on this business and lack of industrial counter ships and export of carpets at the label of the neighboring countries.
Mohammad Hadi Hosaini head of exportation union of carpet in Kabul said, we will request council of ministers and commerce and industry ministry to provide necessary facilities inside and outside the country for exporters of carpet and to search new markets in Moscow and southern Africa.
