MoU Signed Between Local Organs, Ministry Of Telecommunication

Kabul (BNA) By The initiative of the President’s Special Representative on Reforms and Good Governance, Ahmad Zia Massoud, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on electronic governance has been signed between the ministry of telecommunication and the Independent Local Organs Administration here in Kabul, a statement from the ministry’s press office said the other day.
According to the statement, Massoud called the plan to secure governance under electronic facilities too important in reducing complexity of the affairs and fighting corruption, as well as saving time.
The president’s special representative on reforms and good governance also said the plan would provide ease in the country’s regular administrative process and added that he himself would monitor the process every three months.
According to the statement, deputy administrator of the independent local organs, Abdul Malik Suddiqui welcomed signing the MoU, under which the local organs could provide better services for the countrymen.
Deputy technical minister of telecommunication and information technology, Abdul Wahab Saddat also assured that his led ministry would provide good and inclusive services for the citizens through the government local offices.
The MoU had also been signed between the ministry of telecommunication and information technology and eight ministries under the initiative of the President’s special representative for reforms and good governance earlier.
