Kabul (BNA) The watering of Shah-Arous dams will start in Hamal Month next year and 3,500 families will benefit from it.
The Shah-Arus hydroelectric dam located in Shakdara district of Kabul province.
This dam has a production capacity of 1.2 MW of electricity and has supply of agricultural water for about 2700 to 3500 hectares of agricultural land.
In addition to creating employment for the people, this section also has the capacity to provide drinking water to the people of the region and the Kabul city that the construction costed $ 48.15 million paid by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and with the completion of the Dam, 3,500 families will directly benefit from it.
