Manila Hands Over Painted Portrait to MoIC

Kabul (BNA) A painted portrait handed over to the Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC)’s representative by Manila, an Afghan painter who lives in Iran, BNA reported on Tuesday.
According to the agency, Manila has painted a moment in the portrait when the country’s prominent poet Abdul Qasim Ferdowsi is conferring Shahnama on Sultan Mahmoud Ghaznavi.
The painted portrait was handed over to the foreign ministry’s delegation led by Rahim Peerzad deputy to the ministry’s cultural relations department who had traveled to Iran so that to be kept in the ministry of information and culture.
Rahim Peerzad handed over the painted portrait to MoIC’s art gallery head Mohammad Hashim Shariq who thankfully accepted that.
