President Ghani Meets Panjshir Provincial Council Members

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with members of Panjshir provincial council at the Presidential Palace the other day, BNA reported.
Attended by Amrullah Saleh, representing others, head of Panjshir provincial council Azmuddin Merzayee while appreciating President Ghani’s efforts on ensuring peace and stability, shared Panjshir people demands and problems, the agency added.
He asked the president to pay head in implementation of development projects particularly developing Panjshir higher education institute, construction of a dormitory, asphalting Abshar district road, maintenance of Panjshir road and acceleration in practicing commitments to Peshghor district people who were affected by floods last year.
Thanking the provincial council members for addressing people problems, the president said there were practical plants to develop and industrialize Panjshir province.
He added Panjshir enjoys high tourist capacity and work will be done on its water management.
The president promised the participants that Panjshir Higher Education Institute’s dormitory building will be constructed by the Presidential Office’s Operational Unit and a library will be constructed by his own money in that province.
