Kabul (BNA) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Execuive met with Iranian deputy minister of interior Hussain Zolfaqari in Geneva.
In the meeting, the country’s chief executive spoke related to good and exceptional relations between Afghanistan and Iran and praised the country for overall cooperation with Afghan refugees. Afterwards, the Iranian deputy minister of interior considered relations between Afghanistan and Iran as good and friendly and assured of his country’s cooperation with Afghan refugees. In the meeting, legalization of presence of Afghan refugees in Iran, legal presence of Afghan workers in Iran, counter narcotics, cooperation between the two countries in poppy alternative cultivation and joint cooperation in borders with Afghanistan were discussed.
