Ghori Cement Factory Restarts Its Work

Pul-i-Khomri (BNA) The new cement factory started its work after two months close up. 
According to Merwais, Sediq, head of the factory, the new cement factory which was completed by a private company three months ago with total cost of 27.5 million US dollars stopped its work due to lack of coal a month ago. 
He added the factory has resumed its work after enough coal was provided and now 100 tons cement is produced daily. 
According to Mohammad Munir, head of Afghan Coal Company, complete preparations have been taken for providing enough coal for the cement factory. 
He said currently Afghan Coal Company can extract nearly 100 tons coal from Kar Kar, Dudkash and Ahan dara mines daily. 
There is 25,000 tons coal in the reservoirs of the mines, he said.
