12 Development Projects To Be Implemented: Danesh

Kabul (BNA) Second Vice President, Sarwar Danesh said yesterday that 12 development projects at national level would be implemented, Bakhtar News Agency reported.
Addressing the conference on “Supporting Domestic Products”, the vice president lauded the role of private sector in building economy, saying the private sector in Afghanistan, in spite of war and civil strife has played its role in stabilizing economy in the country.
Expressing support to private sector and investment, the vice president noted that the government is committed to support investment and provide physical and legal support to investors, saying no businessman and investor would invest unless and until their security is ensured.
The 12 development projects at national level include national program for developing infrastructures and communication, developing private sector, mining, developing human resources, judicial reforms, etc.
VP Danesh also called upon the ministries for economy, commerce and industries, justice and AISA to ensure the cooperation between the government and private sector by removing challenges and administrative bureaucracy.
According to another report, the vice-president Danesh in meeting with Abdulsamad Heydarov, political official of UNAMA here yesterday stated that the government is determined to reform the electoral system and hold parliamentary elections between summer and fall of this year as announced by the government.
The UNAMA official besides assuring the world body’s technical support to the electoral reforms pointed out the United Nations would continue to stand alongside Afghanistan.
