Kabul (BNA) National defense ministry reported from killing of 72 armed insurgents during clearing operations of Afghan Security Forces across the country.
According to defense ministry press office to BNA, the defense and security forces conducting joint clearing operations in various parts of the country, killed 72 armed insurgents including three local commanders of Taliban, wounded 32 and arrested 2 others.
The operations were carried out in Nangarhar, Laghman, Ghazni, Paktika, Logar, Urozgan, Farah, Nimroz, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
