Kabul (BNA) President Karzai met with the Indian Foreign Minister M.S Karishana in Tokyo.
At the meeting that took place in his residence in Tokyo, Japan both sides discussed successful holding of the Tokyo Conference, process of peace and improvement of relations among the countries of the region.
The Indian foreign Minister congratulated President Karzai for successful holding of the Tokyo conference and said that this conference once again proved that Afghanistan has the strongest support of the international community.
President Karzai touching on the successful holding of the Tokyo conference said that in our foreign relations with the world we attained the commitment and support of the world community, now the government of Afghanistan will concentrate on the struggle against corruption, and strengthening of the government foundations and good governance.
The Indian Foreign Minister expressed his country’s continued support for expansion and development of Afghanistan.
He noted that his country is committed towards support of the united and strong Afghanistan.
