Agreements Signed Between Afghanistan, Kirghizstan

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Zarar Ahmad Usmani signed yesterday three bilateral cooperation agreements with his Kyrgyz’s counterpart here in Kabul.
BNA correspondent reported, after meeting with Kirghiz Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Foreign Affairs appeared in a joint news conference with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister and briefed on the results of the meeting.
In the news conference, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zarar Ahmad Usmani said Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan signed agreements in three separate sectors bilateral consultations, cooperation between institutes of diplomacy for MoFA of the two countries and counter natural disasters.
He said they agreed on setting up a joint economic and trade committee for improvement and strengthening trade and economic relations between the two countries.
According to Minister of Foreign Affairs, setting up Kirghizstan’s embassy to Kabul, connection of Afghanistan’s railway with Kirghizstan and dispatching of Afghan students to the country were the points agreed in the meeting.
In the news conference, Kirghiz Foreign Minister said his country was interested in opening the country’s embassy to Kabul, adding the country would implement projects in agriculture, health and education in Afghanistan. He also expressed his country’s support for peace and negotiations with armed oppositions.
