For the First Time, People in Nangarhar have Access to Drinking Water

JALALABAD (BNA) Nangarhar people With the construction of a water supply network have access to clean drinkable water for the first time.

The water network was built in the Paachira Gam district with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund.

According to officials in the province, UNICEF has paid four million and five hundred thousand Afghanis to build this water supply network.

An official from the Nangarhar Rural Rehabilitation and Development Authority told BNA that with the construction of the network, 300 families would have access to clean drinkable water for the first time.

The villagers hailed the construction of the network.

Residents say they have been suffering from diseases for years due to the use of unhealthy water.
