KABUL (BNA) Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today with Dato Haji Ahmad Azam Abdul Rahman, Special Adviser of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia on Afghanistan
In the meeting, both sides discussed the increase and transparency of humanitarian aid, the growth of Islamic banking and the establishment and expansion of relations between the two countries.
Special Adviser to the Malaysian Foreign Minister for Afghanistan said, “a plane carrying aid from Malaysian people will arrive in Kabul on February 23 and Malaysia will open an office in Kabul to coordinate aid and economic cooperation.
During the meeting, the Acting Foreign Minister thanked the Malaysian people from their assistance and called on Malaysia to cooperate in the marketing of Afghanistan’s important medicinal plants and dried fruits through the corridor for economic development.
