Kabul (BNA) Office of the president in a press release has stated that Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan thanked Wolesi Jirga (The Lower House) for giving trust votes to eight designate-ministers and chief of the National Directorate for Security (NDS), Presidential press office reported BNA.
Salahuddin Rabbani as Foreign Affairs minister, Eklil Hakimi as minister of Finance, Noor-ul-Haq Ulumi as minister of Interior, Ferozuddin Feroz as minister of Public Health, Daud Shah Saba as minister of Mines and Petroleum, Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi as minister of Refugees and Repatriation, Eng. Nasir Ahmad Durrani as minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development and Faiz Mohammad Osmani as minister of Hajj and Religious were approved by the lower house today. The statement further added tat President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan wishes good luck for the newly approved ministers of National Unity Government to honestly sever the Nation. The statement also added that president Ghani will soon introduce the remaining ministerial candidates to Parliament for confidence votes.
