Lashkarga (BNA) Local authorities of Garmsir district in Helmand province said that with cooperation of people 33 schools reopened in that province.
The schools reopened again in Garmsir district while more schools at the level of Helmand province were closed.
Haji Abdul Nasir education head of the mentioned district said to BNA, totally 33 schools reopened with the efforts of local in charges and cooperation of people in this district and the people of Garmsir confirmed that they not allow anyone to close schools in that district.
Currently in these schools, 8000 students are learning out of which 636 are girls.
According to education head of Garmsir, the people of that district have decided to keep the schools from attacks of armed militants in order to extend education in that district again.
