Kabul (BNA) Ministry of Interior submitted fourteen historic relics which were seized from a residential area in Balkh province to Sayed Mosadiq Khalili, deputy minister on cultural affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture here the other day, BNA reported.
The relics which aimed to be smuggled abroad were seized during an operation conducted by Balkh police department. Thanking the efforts made by Balkh police, Sayed Mosadiq Khalili said that the relics were ceramics and their historical backgrounds go to pre-Islamic period. The relics submitted to the National Museum of Afghanistan.
