Distribution Of $60 Thousand Cash Aid to 200 Destitute in Nangarhar

KABUL (BNA) The Ministry of State Disaster Management says it has distributed $60,000 in cash to 200 families in Nangarhar as part of a series of humanitarian aid distributions to needy and destitute people.
The aid has been distributed by the Nangarhar Disaster Management Authority in co-operation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Migration (IOM), which per family received $300 in cash. Said the Ministry
According to the ministry, receivers of aid affected by heavy rains and floods, and were recognized as eligible for assistance by the Department for Disaster Management and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The process of classifying and distributing humanitarian aid to the needy and destitute families continues across the country.
In addition to cash distribution, foodstuff also distributed to needy families, who suffered poverty, unemployment and natural disasters.
Officials in the relevant departments have previously said that they are enduring to provide humanitarian aid in a transparent and just trend to those deserving families.
