KABUL (BNA)Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Political Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with Michael Keating, Executive Director of the European Institute Peace (EIP) at the Sepiadar Palace, Tuseday.
In the meeting, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, thanked the European Union for its assistance to Afghanistan and hoped for better relations with the European Union and other international and donor agencies in the future.
He added that as an independent body, you can play an improving relations between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, European countries and the international community in various fields based on mutual respect and Islamic Emirate wants good relations with world and all his neighbors.
Deputy Kabir said that before the advent of the Islamic Emirate, there were many problems in Afghanistan. But with the advent of the Islamic Emirate, the people are happy with the security. He called on the European Union to ensure that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against anyone.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the European Institute Peace said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s relations with the European Union and the international community have improved, although there are some problems; But for the betterment of relations, comprehensive dialogue and cooperation with each other is essential.
“The Afghan nation has been ravaged by war for the past five years and now is the time to live in peace,” he said, adding that European countries also wanted to help Afghanistan.
