Deputy PM Kabir Called Ties with China Important

 

KABUL (BNA): Mawlavi Abdul Kabir Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs held a meeting with Ambassador of Afghanistan in China, considered the relations between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and that country important and beneficial to both countries.

According to a statement from Arg, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met separately with Mawlavi Bilal Karimi, the Ambassador of Afghanistan to China, and Mawlavi Sayed Barat Shah Nadim Agha, the General Head of the Etra (Telecommunications Authority), at the Sepidar Palace.

Mawlavi Bilal Karimi, provided information regarding the achievements of the Afghan Embassy in China, to Deputy Prime Minister and stated that Afghan diplomats have good official relations with the government and authorities of China.

Karimi added that Chinese officials commend the efforts of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in suppressing ISIS, eliminating corruption, combating drugs, and activities in the economic sector.

The Ambassador of Afghanistan in China mentioned that security, transparency, and stability are factors that have attracted the interest of Chinese investors to invest in Afghanistan, and according to him, a large number of Chinese investors are in contact with the Afghan embassy regarding this matter.

Mr.Kabir also considered the relations between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and China important and beneficial to both countries, referring to China’s role in the region and the world.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the efforts of the Afghan Embassy in that country to improve trade between Afghanistan and China and said that the Islamic Emirate has provided the necessary facilities to traders on both sides.

Still, the Deputy Prime Minister met with Mawlavi Sayed Barat Shah Nadim Agha, the General Head of Etra, and in this meeting, Mawlavi Sayed Barat Shah Nadim Agha shared his plans to strengthen the telecommunications sector, quality services, and extensive telecommunications to Deputy Prime Minister.

The General Head of Etra stated that, according to their assessment, the department is currently in a good state in terms of providing professional and better services than in the past.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir also stated that Etisalat should prioritize providing telecommunications services to remote areas and continue to implement further reforms in the telecommunications sector.
