Kabul (BNA) The statement of the president office and the report of Amnesty International talk about the grave and shocking crimes that Taliban committed in Kunduz city during their short time rule.
BNA commentator analyzing the daily incidents regarding to crimes Taliban committed in Kunduz writes the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan releasing a statement says the preliminary investigation in Kunduz demonstrate that Taliban in close cooperation of their regional insurgents creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation have killed and torture civilians and military personnel in extrajudicial circumstance.
The barbaric Taliban raped virtuous women and virgins, release the prisoners, destroyed state and public cultural and economic installations and plundered the properties of diplomatic offices and NGOs.
The Afghan president like International Amnesty has called the crimes Taliban committed in Kunduz as war crimes and assigned a civilian commission to assess the cost of destructions made by Taliban.
Likewise, the International Amnesty releasing a statement has said that Taliban have committed numerous inhumane crimes such as killing civilian people and robbing their properties. In addition, that charity organization accuses Taliban to war crimes.
The reaction of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and International Amnesty to the crimes Taliban committed in Kunduz indicate that the Kunduz issue is much serious than earlier thought about.
Talban committing such heinous crimes showed that they worth no human and humanity, holding summary courts killed innocent people, committed adultery , and were acting as prey, and wild animals attacked the people and strongly destroyed the properties of the people in order to please their masters.
The shocking incidents occurred in Kunduz indicate that there is nothing in mind and conscious of Talban’s leaders, commanders and individuals but killing and destruction.
The statement released by the president office indicates that a commission has assigned to asses and determines the estimate losses the Kunduz people sustained during the three- day rule of Taliban. This measure has taken place in a time, when Kunduz people need urgent assistances.
On the other hand, the security sources, Kunduz citizens, and media have talked about the presence of foreigners from Middle Asian countries from Chechnya and finally most of them from Pakistan who were involved in killing, raping, and destruction in Kunduz.
Whether, Taliban who call themselves as the Jihadist (holy worriers) to drive the foreigners out of the country how to assess the presence of foreigners who are fighting alongside of them committed adultery and destroyed our country, a shame, or pride? If they consider it a pride, they are not Afghans but the foreign mercenaries who destroy our country and our people know how to punish the traitors to our country.
On the other hand, Amnesty International has called the crimes committed by Taliban as a war crime. we Afghans consider it a just judgment, but it is necessary that international organization consider the supporter and the region influential intelligence as war criminals and introduce them to international criminal court to be punished according to the crimes they have committed and satisfy our people, because our people believe, (an action worth more than thousand words).
