Kabul (BNA) Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met yesterday evening with French ambassador to Kabul Mr. Zhan Michael Marlood at the Presidential Palace.
According to BNA report, in the meeting, both sides discussed on further extension of bilateral relations between Afghanistan and France, counter narcotics, economic affairs, peace and France assistance to Afghanistan.
The French ambassador to Kabul passed congratulatory message on behalf of his country’s President to President Ahmadzai, praising the country’s President for first works and steps and wishing him further success in this regard.
Related to counter narcotics, Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai asked the international countries to reduce level of demands for narcotics in their countries so that counter narcotics process could be succeeded. Dr. Ahmadzai said Afghanistan was interested in marketing its agricultural products in European products, adding they would be thankful for those countries assisting Afghanistan in this regard.
