Kabul (BNA) Mother Day was marked Wednesday in a ceremony by directorate of gender for information and culture here in Kabul. In the ceremony, acting minister of information and culture and deputy minister of youth affairs spoke related to role and position of mothers and women in a society and asserted that mothers had key role in nurturing of their children and always tried to better nurture their children; therefore, all in particular youth should fully respect their mothers. Meanwhile, deputy minister of publications for information and culture Sayeda Mujgan Mustafavi also spoke related to position of mothers and said, “Without doubt, being mother is a big and heavy responsibility. A minor task of a common mother is not less than the task of the biggest human of the world.”
