Afghanistan’s Future Depends On Educated Youth: Marshal Fahim

Kabul (BNA) Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim, Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan yesterday afternoon met with number religious scholars, elders, teachers and the Education Department officials of Takhar province.
In the meeting, vice president considered education as light towards improvement and development of a society and added, “Education officials have a hard task of maintaining Islamic and national values.
Stressing on duties of education officials, the vice president hoped them to make efforts in teaching and training of country’s sons and daughters.
The vice president further said,” The future of country depends on educated youth and we will have a developed country when officials for education are trying their best in fulfilling their duties.”
Representing others, two elders, talking about their problems particularly in education sector, suggested ways for improvement of education in that province.
The vice president instructed minister of education for addressing their suggestion and demands.
