Afghanistan Restored Its Membership in ICC

KABUL (BNA) Afghanistan has once again become full permanent member of the International Cricket Council.
Following the wake of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, the International Cricket Council suspended Afghanistan’s permanent membership.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board declared in a press release that it has won two permanent members of the International Cricket Council.
The board says the stoning of a number of former Afghan officials led to Afghanistan’s suspension from the International Cricket Council.
The International Cricket Council has 106 member countries but only 12 permanent members the council, which Afghanistan being one of them.
The presence of Afghanistan in the list of world cricket powers is very important.
In addition, the committee set up by the International Cricket Council for the Afghanistan Board Sunday accepted Mirwais Ashraf, Chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, as a member, thus ending Afghanistan’s suspension.
