KABUL (BNA): Mullah Bakht Rahman Sharafat, the head of the Afghanistan Railway Authority, has made an official visit to Turkmenistan, a statement from the administration announced on Wednesday.
The visit was made at the invitation of Turkmenistan and discussions are expected to be held on bilateral cooperation, increasing cargo transportation, and other related issues.
This follows a previous official visit by Mr. Sharafat to Iran. The visits indicate a proactive approach by the Afghanistan Railway Authority to strengthen ties and improve railway operations with neighboring countries.
