Kabul (BNA) President Ashraf Ghani returned home after meeting with Indian officials in New Delhi returned home.
President Ghani met with India’s President Prime Minster and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
The president also inaugurated the new conference halls of the Afghan embassy in New Delhi.
According to presidential press office to BNA, Ghani and Modi discussed bilateral ties, expanding trade and transit agreements, cooperation, elections, peace and stability in the region.
President Ghani and Modi also discussed the air corridor between Afghanistan and India and agreed to work on a mechanism to find good markets for Afghan goods, especially for agricultural produce in India.
Both sides agreed that the electoral commissions of both countries should cooperate and exchange views in this regard.
