Afghan Delegation Visits Iran to Boost Transit Cooperation and Trade

KABUL (BNA): The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced the visit of a technical delegation from Afghanistan to Iran with the aim of enhancing transit cooperation and promoting Afghan exports.
According to a statement from the ministry, the delegation includes representatives from the Economic Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Transport and Aviation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Finance. This team has embarked on a journey to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The delegation’s agenda includes an assessment of the capabilities and facilities of the Chabahar Free Trade Zone in Iran. This is part of their efforts to enhance transit and exports to Afghanistan.
In addition, the delegation will discuss the implementation of agreements made during the recent visit of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, to Iran with the country’s authorities.
