Acting Minister of Information and Culture Meets Kandahar Governor

 

KABUL (BNA): Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture, held a meeting with Mullah Shireen Akhund, the Governor of Kandahar, to discuss a range of issues.

Mullah Kahirullah Khairkhwah expressed his appreciation for the influx of foreign tourists to various parts of the country, particularly Kandahar, following the establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

He attributed this increase in tourism to the peace and security that have been established in the region.

In addition, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah shared updates on the restoration of several historical buildings, including the tomb of Haji Mirwais Khan Hottak and the residence and tomb of Ahmad Shah Baba.

Governor of Kandahar, Mullah Shireen Akhund, in turn, commended the Ministry of Information and Culture for its work and suggested that more programs be developed to foster intellectual and scientific knowledge among the youth.
