Acting Minister of Education Meet With Norway Ambassador

Kabul (BNA) Acting Minister of Ministry of Education Noorulaah Munir, discussed the education of girls, teachers’ salaries and the curriculum with Norway ambassador and his delegation yesterday.

According to BNA report in this meeting, the acting minister of the Ministry of Education said, whenever a suitable environment is created for the education of girls in terms of religion and culture, the Islamic Emirate is committed to officially open the seventh to twelfth grades for girls.

Noorullah Munir also mentioned in the quorum section that no action has been taken to change the quorum in the near future, but as usual, the quorum will be adjusted and enriched at a specific time.

Referring to teachers ‘salaries, he said: “Since the arrival of the Emirate, teachers’ salaries have been implemented and paid for several months, and work is underway to distribute their other salaries.

At the meeting, Norwegian ambassador, pledged to continue their cooperation for the country’s education system.

The meeting was also attended by Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemmat Akhundzada, Director General of the Office of the Official, Professor Vahidullah Hashemi, Director of International Relations and Donors, and Aziz Ahmad Ryan, Director of Public Relations of the Ministry of Education.
