KABUL(BNA) Mawlawi Abdul Baqi Haqqani, acting Minister of Higher Education, in an opening ceremony of a workshop on “Periodic Review of Scientific Programs and Quality Assurance Criteria” stressed on Standardization of educational institutions.
According to BNA reporter, In this workshop, which has held in the presence of scientific deputies, quality assurance officers and representatives of public and private higher education institutions in the center, the acting Ministry of Higher Education stressed the standardization and self-sufficiency of the country’s educational institutions.
“The main reason for the progress and prosperity of the developed countries of the world is their attention and investment in the field of higher education with quality and standards, which today have a high position in the world community.” He said
The Ministry of Higher Education added that Afghanistan has emerged victorious from the battlefield today, but has a long way to go to win in the field of science and progress, which can be successful and successful with the joint cooperation of professors, educational institutions and the Ministry of Higher Education, He added that if we can have standard universities, we will graduate standard students, which will result in the progress and development of the country.
Afterwards, Dr. Luitfullah Khairkhah, Deputy Minister of Science of the Ministry of Higher Education, spoke and emphasized the healthy competition between the country’s educational institutions for the provision of standard services.
Then Shakarr wahidi, Head of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of the Ministry of Higher Education, informed about the importance of this workshop and said that in this workshop, professors explain the periodic review of scientific programs and eleven quality assurance criteria.
