Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) Military and clearing operations have been launched in Chahar Bolak and Chamtal districts of Balkh yesterday.
Maj. Mohammad Hanif Rezayee, a spokesperson to 209th Shaheen Corps told BNA that resolute operations have been started by Afghan security forces in insecure areas of the province such as Chahar Bolak and Chamtal districts for suppressing armed insurgents.
He added that Chahar Bolak and Chamtal districts are the insecure areas in the province as armed insurgents’ usually harmed residents of the two districts.
