KABUL (BNA) Samangan Agriculture Department says that it plans to plant 100 thousand pistachio trees for the rehabilitation of pistachio forests in the province.
Provincial agriculture officials say that the project will be implemented at a cost of 48 million Afghanis and would create work opportunities for thousands of people.
The forest has an important role in natural disasters, but in some places, people cut the forest.
Ministry of agricultural, irrigation, and livestock of Islamic Emirate say cutting the forest is prohibited and those will seriously finish who cut the forest.
