Kabul (BNA) Salahuddin Rabbani minister of foreign affairs, who left Kabul for Beijing to participate China-Afghanistan-Pakistan foreign ministers session, met with Wang Yi Chinese foreign minister Monday evening.
According to information of foreign minister’s press office to BNA, at the beginning of the meeting Mr. Rabbani appreciated China’s innovation regarding holding trilateral meeting and praising role of China in order to strengthen relations between neighboring countries.
Salahuddin Rabbani also thanked China’s cooperation with Afghanistan in various sectors, particularly in fighting against terrorism.
Then Chinese foreign minister appreciated achievements of Afghanistan about struggle against terrorism and emphasized that his country would be continue its cooperation with Afghanistan in different fields and support peace process led by ownership of Afghanistan.
At the end of the meeting both sides discussed mutual interests such as political, security and economic sectors.
