Yemeni Citizens Protests Against US and UK Attacks, Express Solidarity with Palestine

KABUL (BNA) – Massive protests erupted in Saada and Sanaa, the major cities of Yemen, as hundreds of thousands of Yemeni citizens voiced their outrage over the recent attacks carried out by the United States and the United Kingdom.

The protesters, marked by a strong show of solidarity with the Palestinian people, witnessed participants chanting slogans like “The promised victory and holy jihad” and carrying flags of Yemen and Palestine.

According to reports from Al Jazeera, the protesters displayed images of the victims of the Yemeni Navy, along with portraits of Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the commander-in-chief of the Yemeni armed forces.

The demonstrators vehemently expressed their objections, using slogans such as “We have achieved certain victory, our advice to the world is not to side with the oppressor,” “America is the great Satan,” and “We sacrifice our souls for Al-Aqsa.”

The people of Saada and Sanaa showcased their unwavering resolve to confront the attacks launched by the United States and the United Kingdom.

They further declared their readiness to join military training centers and abide by Abdul-Malik al-Houthi’s orders to defend Gaza and liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The protesters emphasized that the massive gathering in Saada marked a significant response to the aggression by the United States and the United Kingdom. In a noteworthy development, the US and the UK redirected their attacks on Yemen, shifting their focus from Houthi forces and Ansar Allah to Israeli ships, which triggered widespread global reactions, including responses from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The Yemeni citizens’ protests reflect the deep-rooted anger and opposition to the ongoing military operations in Yemen, as well as a strong sense of solidarity with the Palestinian cause. These demonstrations serve as a potent reminder of the determination of the Yemeni people to resist foreign aggression and protect the rights of oppressed nations.

As the situation continues to unfold, the international community awaits further developments and hopes for a peaceful resolution that respects the sovereignty and well-being of all nations involved.
