Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai condemned NATO’s air attack on a residence in Helmand province as a result of which a child was martyred and two women wounded.
It is reported that as a result of a US drone attack on a home in Faqiran area of Garmser district of Helmand a two-year child was killed and two women wounded.
President Karzai said that the attack is taking place three days after the Consultative Loya Jirga confirmed the security pact between Afghanistan and the US and it shows that US forces are not respecting the lives and safety of the homes of the Afghans and the decisions of the Loya Jirga of the people of Afghanistan.
He emphasized that unless such irresponsible acts and cruelties are continued by the foreign forces on the people, the security pact with the US will not be signed.
Last night evening in a telephonic contact with Name Baluch the Governor of Helmand ordered him to assist the victim family.
He conveyed his deep sympathies with the family of martyred child and wished immediate recovery of the wounded of this incident
The President also condemned the planting of roadside mine in Achin district of Nangarhar province as a result of which 3 innocent people were killed and 11 others wounded and called it the work of enemies of the people of Afghanistan.
It is reported that last Thursday two roadside mines were exploded by the enemies of the people in Mazdag of Achin district as a result of which 3 people were martyred and 11 others wounded.
While condemning these acts of the enemies President Karzai said that the enemies of Afghanistan have lost confronting the Afghan security forces so they try to kill the innocent people. He conveyed his deep sympathies to the martyr families and wished early recovery for the wounded of the incident.
