20,000 Youths Receive Graduation Certificates

Kabul (BNA) 20,000 Afghan youths graduated from professional and technical schools and institutes of the Education Ministry in various 47 fields and received their graduation certificates on Wednesday.
According to BNA, in a ceremony held on this occasion in hall of Loya Jirga’s tent, Minister of Education Farooq Wardak spoke and said, “Currently 100,000 students are busy in receiving professional studies in 108 technical and professional institutes and 185 vocational schools from two years to five years in 73 programs.”
While praising role of youth in reconstruction of the country, Wardak said Afghan society needed to professional individuals and the graduates had received various trainings and could play vital role in development of the country.
The ceremony was attended by a number of members of parliament, directors and deputy ministers of education.
The graduation certificates were distributed by Minister of Education Farooq Wardak and Deputy Minister of Technical for Education Asif Nang and a number of members of Parliament to the students.
