Kabul (BNA) Mishrano Jirga (MJ) of the National Assembly has been informed with deep grief and sadness that due to landslide in Badakhshan province, hundreds of our countrymen have lost their lives, while a large number of others trapped in mud. Based on reports, as a result of landslide happened Friday in two phases in Barik Aab village of Argo district of Badakhshan province, more than 3000 of people were martyred and injured. Reports said most of the victims were those who had come from nearby villages for helping the first phase’s affected people. Mishrano Jirga the National Assembly while praying to martyrs’ souls of the incident is asking government and welfare organizations to take necessary steps before happening such natural incidents in the country in order that casualties and losses level would reduce in coming possible incidents and necessary aids would be conducted to affected people.
