UNDP Good Afghan Government Partner, Khalili

Kabul (BNA) Assistance to the secretary general and regional chief of Asia and Africa of UNDP and his accompanying delegation met with Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president.
President at the meeting was also Sham Lal Batejja economic advisor of President Karzai, chief and senior assistance of the UNDP in Afghanistan.
The Ejji Cheeber the assistance of UNDP called UNDP as good partner of Afghanistan and said that it has assisted with the government and people of Afghanistan in different spheres.
Regarding the UNDP programs he stressed that cooperation of this office will continue for long term in this country.
He added that the UNDP intends assist Afghanistan in elections, rural development, capacity building, good local governance, budget-marking, natural management and changes in air and water in the future as well.
Khalili told the UNDP delegation that it is of reliable partner of Afghanistan and thanked for its support.
He stressed that attention towards capacity building in different spheres especially in local organs are the basic priority of the government of Afghanistan.
The UNDP chief noted that expansion of Digital services in Afghanistan for speedy access to information and transfer of experience in this respect is part of the UNDP program in Afghanistan which was welcomed by Khalili.
