President Ghani Urges Medical Services Standardization

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, in a ceremony at the presidential Palace, laid emphasizes on the standardization of medical services and said: “We will not have order and service enter unless we have standardization,” a statement said Tuesday.
According to the statement released through media from the Presidential Press Office, the president commended the doctors’ hard works in providing medical services to the people, said that standardization of health system would help rescue millions of lives.
In the doctors’ electronic name registration ceremony, in which chairwoman of the medical council of Afghanistan, Dr. Nasrin Oryakhil spoke about the importance of the electronically registration of the doctors’ names, the president encouraged the doctors and said: “You are the best cadres of the country and the people count on you,” the statement quoted.
He said any step you are taking in standardization of health system, helps millions of lives rescued, according to the statement.
Millions of USD from both the people and the government pour into the pockets of foreign doctors outside the country, “If we don’t have standardized hospital. There is a need for change in form of the medical tourism.”
The president emphasized on a political health entities and said there was a need for wide reforms in this field as the people require, the statement said.
