Asadabad (BNA) 12 people lost their lives and four others were injured as a result of overturning a vehicle into a ravine in Chapadara district, Kunar province.
Colonel Abdul Habib Syeedkhail police chief of Kunar told BNA, the incident occurred while a vehicle carrying civilians crashed due to snowfall into a ravine in Chapadara district, which caused killing of 12 people and wounding of four others.
According to the source, the victims of the incident are civilians and residents of the area, including men, women and children.
Ihsanullah Fazli head of public health in the province confirmed the incident said four wounded of the incident have been shifted to provincial hospital which is now being treated in hospital.
He called the health condition of two injured critical.
