Thousands of Needy Families Received Aid Across Afghanistan

KABUL (BNA) International and domestic organizations and charities pursue to aid needy families in Afghanistan.

Over the past five days, including Eid, they have aided more than 20,000 families in parts of Afghanistan.

The assistances include food, clothing, goods, and cash.

In the past five days, more than 20,000 families in 25 provinces of Afghanistan have been covered by the humanitarian assistance of international and domestic organizations, said sources to BAN.

The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations, Ministry of Disaster Management, World Food Programme (WFP), and UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNCHR) are the biggest supporter of aids accommodation to the needy in Afghanistan, added to reports.

The economic and humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan has posed a serious challenge to families in need.

World Food Programme (WFP) says more than half of Afghanistan’s 36 million people need urgent food aid.
