Kabul (BNA) The minister of higher education Dr. Obaidullah Obaid held meeting with parliamentarians from Badghis, Herat, Farah, Nimroz, Kandahar, Helmand, Uruzgan and Zabul provinces yesterday.
In the meeting the minister said that he would hold such meetings every month to seek the ways and means on improving higher education situation in the country.
According to another report, Dr. Obaid also held meeting with the general director of environment directorate, experts and professors here yesterday and discussed the issue of drafting curriculum in the faculty for environment.
The minister for higher education also termed the pollution as silent enemy, saying dozens of people lose their lives daily due to pollution in the country.
