Taliban Force Locals In Helmand To Join Their Lines

Kabul (BNA) In a new effort to strengthen the lines against the Afghan security forces, Taliban have launched to recruit men by force in southern Helmand province of Afghanistan.
Abdul Majeed Akhundzada deputy of the Helmand provincial council told, that Taliban are strengthening their forces near Lashkargah city and at the same time recruiting young men in northern districts.
According to Akhundzada Taliban has forced people in Musa Qala, Nawzad,  Kajaki, and Baghran districts to join their lines and fight against the government despite of a lack of interest to their demands.
The governor of Helmand also confirmed the report saying Taliban always misuse civilians for their military targets.
“There is no doubt that Taliban militants are recruiting people in the areas under their control, the prepare their suicide bombers and vehicles laden with explosives in those areas,” Hayatullah Hayat the governor of Helmand said,” unfortunately, they have taken the people in their hostage and people fears to raise their voice, because Taliban does not obey any law.”
